Competitive intelligence on 30 global law firms, verified to the source.

Syglum maintains a structured record of partner moves, major matters, litigation and firm developments. Every published event includes its source, the evidence used to verify it and a confidence label.

Syglum is built for competitive intelligence, business development and research teams, and for the partners they support.

What is recorded

Depending on the event, a Syglum record can include:

  • firm and category
  • client and counterparty
  • matter or transaction
  • practice and geography
  • named lawyers and their roles
  • movement from one firm to another
  • disclosed value and value type
  • source links and evidence quotes

The record covers partner and team moves, major deals and mandates, litigation and regulatory matters, legal technology and AI, and changes in firm strategy, practices and offices.

Related events are linked where the same development involves more than one tracked firm.

What Syglum is not

Syglum is not a general legal-news service.

It does not try to capture every matter handled by every tracked firm. Events are included under a published methodology. For transactions, the general threshold is $1 billion, with defined exceptions for areas such as partner moves, litigation and certain firm or technology developments.

Some activity is never made public. Some only becomes visible later. An event not appearing in Syglum does not mean the underlying activity did not happen.
